Rajibpur Rowmari, Chilmari & Ulipur Nageshori,kurigrama sadar upzilla of kurigram district.and Taragonj Upzilla of Rangpur district in Bangladesh the lower basins of the rivers Brahmaputra,Tistsa, Dudkamal, Zingiram and Halhalia entering from Meghalaya of Assam, India. The region is disaster prone and surrounded by water where millions of poor vulnerable, marginal and sharecroppers are leading sub-human lives struggling continuously with poverty, hunger and disasters. Disasters like-flood, flash flood, draught, cold-wave and nor-western are very common and frequent also continues river erosion making thousands of the people land-less, vulnerable and poorer every year. Over 76% of the people are day labors and marginal farmers and poverty is the major obstruction for development while communication aggravated the situation. No mill/factories are established to the region either at the initiative of the Govt. or private entrepreneurs because of problematic communication and roughness of the rivers. Agriculture based activities are the main income generating scopes for the poor people that is very much limited to 4-5 months of the whole year and for the lien period the male earning persons usually migrate to other locations of the country searching for temporary employment leaving their families at the isolated char lands when pregnant, lactate mothers, children below 05 years including elderly people suffer from many basic needs.
At the beginning of the activities poor
community people are united into a platform and through formed groups with
15-20 underprivileged poor people of the societies. They have also been
motivated to savings and benefit to savings clarified properly. Adult education
was also the initial activities of the organization.

Wheel Chair distribution to person’s with disability (free of cost) and Relief & Rehabilitation funded by Grameen Shapno and Islamic Relief-Bangladesh (IRB), Women and child dispatching torturing and protect committee, funded by Royal Danish Embassy and khan Foundation.
Ensure safe water and sanitation support to the poor people with the support of NGO Forum and Islamic Relief Bangladesh implementing relief and post flood rehabilitation activities in the areas.
To implement gender program we are given due importance also we are very much sincere. We are endeavor our best efforts in establishing a gender balanced society.
We are committed to bring some positive changes at the status of the poor vulnerable people through the programs involving men and women into the program cycle motivating to undertake development and income generation activities that enable women to act pioneer role in addition to income generation besides their usual household activities.
